CO2 Extract

- Specifications

Flowability:
To increase utilization, we recommend pre-warming Hopsteiner CO2 Extract before addition to the kettle. Hopsteiner CO2 Extract can be heated to 120F (50C) and held for several days without deterioration. At this temperature, Hopsteiner CO2 Extract is easily poured or pumped.

Containers:
Hopsteiner CO2 Extract is packaged in a variety of cans, pails and drums according to customer's specification.

Can sizes:
0.5 kg, 1.0 kg, 2.0 kg, 3.0 kg and 4.0 kg.

Plastic pail sizes:
8 kg and 20 kg.

Steel or plastic drum size:
200 kg.

Different can and drum sizes are available upon request.

Recommended storage conditions:
Hopsteiner CO2 Extract is preferably stored in its original containers at cold to cool temperatures. Hopsteiner@ C02 Extract will maintain its integrity for years if the specified storage conditions are followed.

Lower storage temperature provides better stability. Ongoing studies have shown that even after five years over 90% of the original alpha-acids remained when the extract is cold stored. More importantly, the overall hop quality of Hopsteiner CO2 Extract remains the same as when it was produced.

Maximum temperature: 77F (251C). (Extended time at temperatures above specified 1%ea W [is this right 1%ea W] deterpration or extract.)
