Isomerized Hop Pellets

Form of Hop
Isomerized Hop Pellets (S.S. Steiner Patented Process)

Description of Process
Hopsteiner Isomerized Hop Pellets are processed in a manner similar to that of stabilized pellets. Isomerized pellets are further processed by placing the sealed hop pellet cartons into a controlled heated environment.

Short duration and moderate elevated temperatures isomerize nearly all of the alpha-acids. The vacuum sealed pouches retain all of the brewing aromas and flavors.

Hopsteiner Isomerized Pellets allow later hop additions and excellent brewing utilization of the alpha-acids not usually converted with typical aroma hop late kettle addition.

Stability
Hopsteiner Isomerized Hop Pellets have excellent stability. Iso-alpha-acids are more stable than alpha-acids. Since virtually all the alpha-acids have been converted to ISO-alpha-acids Hopsteiner Isomerized Pellets offer the best stability of any hop pellet.
