Reduced Iso-Extract
35%

Hopsteiner Reduced ISO-Extract is said by many brewers to have the best-perceived bittering taste of commercially available reduced hop extracts.

Hopsteiner Reduced ISO-Extract is best utilized when added after fermentation. We recommend dosing Hopsteiner Reduced ISO-Extract undiluted into the center of the beer stream during at least 70% of the beer transfer, preferably just before the final filtration and after any gravity adjustment.

Note that it is important to dissolve any precipitated material in the extract before making the addition. Also, to maintain solubility in the pipelines, Hopsteiner Reduced ISO-Extract needs to be injected as a heated solution, preferably at 140OF (600C). (Hopsteiner Reduced ISO-Extract can be held for several days at this temperature without any loss of brewing potential).

Alternatively, Hopsteiner Reduced ISO-Extract can be added directly to the kettle. Such addition is commonly used to prevent excessive foam generation during the boil or when the anti-microbial properties of reduced iso-acids are desired to protect the wort from infections during the fermentation and storage.

Hopsteiner Reduced ISO-Extract is produced, inspected, and accepted under our ISO-9002 quality assurance program.
