Note
that it is important to dissolve any precipitated material
in the extract before making the addition. Also, to maintain
solubility in the pipelines, Hopsteiner Reduced ISO-Extract
needs to be injected as a heated solution, preferably at
140OF (600C). (Hopsteiner Reduced ISO-Extract can be held
for several days at this temperature without any loss of
brewing potential).
Alternatively,
Hopsteiner Reduced ISO-Extract can be added directly to
the kettle. Such addition is commonly used to prevent excessive
foam generation during the boil or when the anti-microbial
properties of reduced iso-acids are desired to protect the
wort from infections during the fermentation and storage.
Hopsteiner
Reduced ISO-Extract is produced, inspected, and accepted
under our ISO-9002 quality assurance program.
